Apple Crumble cake
Blogging for Scrapbookers Day 28 was to share a tutorial. I never got that far!! so today I thought I'd share a recipe with you that my good friend Carol gave to me and which I love.
Apple Crumble Cake
6oz soft butter
6oz self raising flour
6oz caster sugar
2 large eggs
1tblsp of cinnamon
2 small apples
Crumble mix
4oz cold butter
4oz caster sugar
6oz plain flour
Pre-heat oven to 180c (160c for a fan oven), Gas mk 4. Grease and line an 11 x 7 inch tin.
Mix together butter, sugar, flour, cinnamon, eggs and chopped apples. (I used my Moulinex Masterchef I got as a wedding present nearly 15 years ago and would be lost without!!)
I love the look on the dogs face on my cup. It looks like he's just about to tuck in :0)

Mix crumble mixture together till it resembles bread crumbs.
Spoon apple mixture into a tin. Sprinkle over with crumble mix and press down.

I can vouch for its yumminess! I might just have to have a go myself, but without the Moulinex!
ReplyDeleteThis would be excellent right about now when we are having such cold weather. But I must say at least the sun is shining. This looks so yummy! Thank you for sharing.
