27 years ago today I joined the Royal Air Force. I was only just 17, nervous but very excited about making the trip to RAF Hereford for my 6 weeks basic training. Where have the years gone?

I see you are going to a crop. How exciting. I can't wait to see what you make.
We are celebrating Halloween tomorrow. I am not handing out candy this year. It will be the first time in 35 years. My blood sugars have been high, and being an insulin diabetic, I already take 5 shots a day, so we decided we were not bringing any candy into the house. Next year perhaps.
