Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's day to all Mum's out there in Blogland.
The day here started well with two new beads for my Pandora bracelet, flowers and breakfast made by John (with absolutely no help from Samuel!!) Then, despite Samuel saying Mum could have "a day off", it was carry on as normal. Washing, ironing, changing the beds and walking the dog. I did get to sit down for an hour this afternoon though to catch up on the last episode of The Tudors which I recorded last night.
Still not to worry it's the start of the Easter holidays so I've got the next 2 weeks off to relax and catch up with myself.

oh I had to prise a 'happy mother's day' wish from my two!! In fact I don't even think they knew that it was even Mother's Day!! lol
ReplyDeleteOh the Tudors! Did you cry too? I shall miss it even though Henry sounded far too Irish at times lol.
ReplyDeleteMothers Day started great with bacon sandwiches in bed & card & flowers but then I had to go to work ...... so no change there then! xx
Beautiful flowers. x
ReplyDeleteThat is right, your Mother's day is much earlier than our. Hope you enjoyed your day Liz.....:-)Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of the flowers, beautiful colours. I'm afraid I still ended up doing most of the work yesterday too but still had a lovely day :) xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful flowers!
ReplyDeleteYou and Sharon gave me a startle this morning thinking I missed mother's day since I tend to lose track of time out here and it wouldn't be the first time I missed a holiday. Then I looked at the calendar and realized you must do mother's day on a different day over there :)
