Mum has a blitz!!
I don't know about you but my teenage son seems to live in, what I would describe as, a pigsty. He has a washing basket but stuff still ends up on the floor. All his DVDs/X-Box games all have covers but still end up in a heap and his bed never seems to get made. And as for what is under the bed......I won't even go there!
So while he was out with his pals all yesterday afternoon I got the black bin bags and set to.
It took while but it's now done. All the discs are in their proper place, all books back on shelf, all washing in the laundry basket and bed made.

12.6.11 - ETA. Samuel just cleaned the car in repayment for tidying his room!! A fair trade I'd say.

ReplyDeleteSpookily I took a very similar photo yesterday- but the threat of posting it on Facebook for his mates to see did the trick - and he did "tidy" it himself. Only problem now is I have a weeks worth of school clothes to wash as I had refused to liberate them from the floor! Will post my before and after photos later!
ReplyDeleteOh how this makes me smile- my boys idea of tidying up is to bring absolutely everything out of their room clean or dirty and put in the washing basket.....well done for tackling - it looks much better !
ReplyDeleteWell done!! I so need to do that in a couple of rooms but it's a daunting thought! My daughter has so much stuff (ie. clothes, books, stationery ...) that I don't know where it's going to go!
