Making truffles for the Rural tomorrow. The challenge - to make 4 truffles.
Only problem was John wanted chocolate truffles and I was going to do Amaretto & almond truffles. The almond ones normally roll easily into small round balls. Not so with the chocolate ones. They just stick to your hands and end up really odd shapes!! Never mind I disguised two with grated white and milk chocolate and covered the other two with melted white and milk with a few squiggles in the top.
It's not the winning that counts - it's the taking part.

But it would be nice to win all the same!! :0)
C'mon, it's all about the winning!!
ReplyDeleteYou win just trying to make truffles. I know from experience these little delights are not easy. But ah yes a blue ribbon (first place in Canada would be a red ribbon).
ReplyDeleteTaking part? Yes but winning is the goal! Good luck.
