When the weather gets really bad and it's likely to flood, little messages pop up on your TV and a siren sounds. Then you get an announcement which tells you what the weather warnings are. Pretty cool really. Problem today was the grassed area outside the apartment was already flooded before we got the message!!

When my Mum and Dad were in Dallas the 'tornado' alarm went off and they had no clue what it was for - they were blissfully unaware and were sitting watching the weather reports on the tv instead of taking cover lol....Where my friend lives in California they have an 'earthquake' alarm installed in the houses. Scary stuff!! Did you know we had a twister over here at the weekend just out by Lossiemouth?! Ooooh!!
