Me on whatever the day of the week it is - 21 July 2021

It's the first day of the holidays, and I've been up since 5.30am as hubby was off to Doncaster bright and early.  I could have gone back to bed but there didn't seem much point.

There was a lovely morning mist which could only mean another hot day ahead.  It was 30C yesterday and set to be the same again today.

It's now 9.30am and I've showered and had breakfast, cleaned the kitchen, done some washing, looked at places to go at the weekend and sorted out clothes to take away on Friday.  Time for a coffee now I think.

    1. Thank you. I'm not normally up that early to get photos of the sunrise etc.

  2. Those photos of the morning mist are pretty. Oh a weekend adventure to look forward to. 30+ is unusual for Britain, so many health issues arise from that kind of heat - stay hydrated is the message of the day (col).

    1. The weekend away was just what was needed. We took plenty of water but brought most of it home as the weather turned into a typical British summer :0(

  3. What lovely photos of the mist rising from the grass - I bet it was another hot day after that! We escaped the 30 degree heat on the Suffolk coast, we had high 20s but with a glorious breeze off the sea.
Hope you had a good weekend!

    1. After the mist we got up to 29C, which for me is hot. I think I only survived Texas due to air conditioning.
I'm glad you had a lovely week away.
