Me on Monday - 15 April 2024

I'm on the mend and feeling much better.   Mentally I'm ready for work, but after doing a little bit of housework yesterday I know I'm not ready physically.

My friend Miss D picked me up and took me out for coffee.  We met up with another friend and had brunch.  I was out for about three hours but was shattered when I got back.  Another afternoon on the sofa was called for.

The weather has been so changeable this week with so much rain & dark skies.  One minute it feels like winter and the next the sun is out and the washing is on the line.  I can't keep up.

I 'supervised' the weeding of the flower bed, in the front garden, on one sunny day.  It's definitely the best way to do the garden and saves you getting sore knees :0)

We had our bathroom done last June and it seems that the shower didn't seal properly and has been leaking under the bathroom floor.  Bathroom John was back last week to fix the floor and luckily we had bought too much laminate last year so didn't need to buy more.

Crochet - This week I have finished one monkey and am half way through a second.  Photos to follow.

Watching - I have bobbed in and out of Downton Abbey and have just watched
